SDI is sometimes a sponsor for his Youtube videos. I disagree that he is a shill, he openly calls them sponsors when they appear in episodes. Youtube is a hard place for firearm related channels because of their rules, so sponsors are needed for those kind of channels to succeed. I dont think that holding a Youtube sponsorship against him is valid criticism on why he is not capable for this position in the ATF. He has worked with many gun rights groups, appeared in courts to give testimony, and runs a firearms business. That shows his dedication to American firearm owners and knowledge of the kind of laws that he has had to adhere to with his business.
This man has been a pillar to the community and country for years. His work with firearms alone shows he is qualified. Along with his work for the veteran community, shows he is dedicated and driven to help make this country more worth living in. He almost beat tony for a seat in Texas. That landed him support from many government leaders including Matt Gaetz.End of the day Brandon Joseph Herrera would make a solid pick for the seat. This would help bring back respect to the agency as Mr. Herrera would not rest until the agency is doing what it was intended for, protecting American citizens while not stomping all over their rights to self defense. I really suck at writing things but all stated here by myself are my full feelings on the matter. He is an A grade human, that can not be bought or corrupted, as many politicians are. He has true honor and integrity, despite never serving in the military himself…He lives the core values everyday. Lets hope this gains ground, I wholeheartedly think he would be the best pick I cannot think of a better man to do the job and get the shame of the failed atf at this point back on track.
Brandon Herrera is the man who would actually do something for once. He will do what it takes because he’s got what it takes.l!
As the man has already stated in his video here, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-1rLHDJQqxQ, he will vigilantly use his authority as ATF director to undo a century of blatant anti-gun, and thusly, anti-2nd amendment policy to the best of his ability. Brandon Herrera thoroughly understands firearms and firearms policy and the vast and idiotic policy and rulings by both the current and previous headings of the ATF. For far too long the ATF has made absolutely nonsensical rulings which would turn millions of law abiding Americans into criminals with the swipe of a pen overnight. We have either been fortunate enough of or by the hand of divine providence, whichever you prefer, for such insanity to not fully come to pass, though I’m sure DC bureaucrats are salivating and chomping at the bit to see their tyranny to fruition . However, if an outsider that actually understands firearms, builds firearms, is active in the industry, and has gone through the legal Olympics of obtaining a class III FFL can come in and shake up the DC swamp by putting the power of the great equalizer that is firearms and the 2nd amendment back into more hands of lawful Americans the more we can prevent the current festering cancer of big government tyranny and overreach. Admittedly, his appointment to such a position would not only be hilarious middle finger to the establishment dregs that laughed at him for being unable to upset the Texas District 3 traitor that is Tony Gonzales, I believe without a shadow of a doubt, the great American that is Brandon Herrera would run his rightful post as ATF director with honor, distinction, and humility. I may not be in Texas, but I’m a neighbor not far away in Missouri, and I can think of no other man better suited for the job than Brandon Herrera.
At this point, if Brandon isn’t the nominee, then it’s obvious nobody’s actually listening to the people.
I registered for this site just to vote for Brandon Herrera for ATF director as I sadly could not vote him into Congress as I am a CT citizen and unable to vote in Texas. We need a pro gun leader of the ATF, not bureaucratic weasels looking to disarm lawful Americans.
Wonderful choice!
Made my account to vote for this dude. Lets go Brandon!
Brandon Herrera has my full support since I know he supports me fully. This would be an excellent position for a patriot and just want is needed to fight back against anti-constitution legislation or “rules”.
Aside from the times that I have heard (read) Brandon Herrera joke about abolishing the ATF, I believe that he would rather take this nonfunctioning agency and reform it into a useful and functional entity. Much the way someone might restore a car that has rusted out over the years, or the way someone would take a dilapidated house and rebuild it into a livable home. I believe that Brandon has enough understanding of what the ATF should be, in all aspects, not just guns, that he could (and would) work to turn the ATF into what it should be.
Shut them down Brandon. Shut them down.
If he becomes director we are finally have an ATF director that has knowledge about what they specalize at.
Brandon is great! Truly I hope he accepts. Also, I hope all of you will go vote for other nominees in other sections and learn about them!
Brandon is by far the best pick for ATF director. The ATF needs to re-focused and get away from making law abiding citizens into felons based on purchasing things that completely legal at the time they are purchased. Bring sanity back!
Omg please let Brandon get chosen for this position. We would finally have someone that actually loves the 2A community! LGB!
I think this is a great idea, the ATF has become an agency of government overreach and needs to be reigned in.
all good points, the ATF has never had a pro gun director
I think that Mr. Herrera would make an excellent choice for ATF director. He has the knowledge base of the laws, and extensive experience in the firearms industry to make the complex and accurate decisions.
As a vet I completely support this Purple Heart recipient. His experience in the fields is of great importance especially in the Kekistan-Bosnia conflict. His commitment to support no-kill dog shelters with his salary is admirable.
Brandon is the man this country needs.
Also Isaiah Markin needs to be considered for a supporting role, either to the ATF or the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Another vote for Brandon Herrera. He needs to be the ATF director.
