Nominator's thoughts on what would make this nominee a valuable member of a future Trump Unity Government

    1) Is Competent and is an expert on how the brain works, develops, and heals. If our country has her in a position where she can recommend policies on how to make a learning environment in schools, have her insight for decision-making on how to address the dramatic increase in autism and other mental health conditions, and have her hand in addressing the mental health crisis veterans face we can end veteran suicide, rescue our children from becoming dependent on medications for a whole lifetime. I think her previous work in 3rd world countries and the results she has yielded make her one of the best candidates to have in any of the three agencies or all of them.
2-5) I do not know her personally enough to have the most accurate opinion on her honesty, respect, integrity, and courage. Still, from my experience of utilizing some of the methods she explained in her books, I have experienced healing and progress.
    6) Has a Proven Record of being a trailblazer in the neuroscience community. Her discoveries about neuroplasticity have made a great impact on the advancement of the mental health field. In one of her interviews, she talked about a young girl, a 5th grader, who had become a vegetable due to a car accident. At that time, no one thought that the girl could ever advance in her life, but Dr. Leaf didnt agree, and after some work, she had with the girl, not only did she talk and learn again, but she even made it to her freshman year of high school. I believe that story and the stories about her experience in helping the youth in 3rd world countries engage in school. I think having her in the MAHA team in one way or another will make the goals of this movement even more possible and seamless.

  • Dr. Leaf’s brilliance brightens every mind her knowledge reaches. I thoroughly enjoyed her most popular book this summer, and I have no doubt her expertise will propel the coming generations forward.
