Nominator's thoughts on what would make this nominee a valuable member of a future Trump Unity Government
1) Is Competent ...Has proven he can tour the country and persuade and educate people about a better way to farm that profits the FARMER instead of relying on government subsidies. 2) Is Honest... 3) Is Respectful ... 4) Has Integrity ... 5) Has Courage ... 6) Has a Proven Record...decades of successful farming with much lower inputs than corporate farming.
Gabe browns Experiance of transitioning from modern subsidized agricultural practices to polyculture & regenerative farming practices on a large scale makes him uniquely suited for a position in the department of agriculture… sadly I believe to transition to more stable agricultural practices, We will have to incentivize no-till, polyculture and cover crops. I believe Gabe Brown would understand that better then most… I do find many other candidates listed as good candidates for the position, I believe Gabe brown is possibly the best suited to cause real change in our current agricultural practices on a large scale. I find Joel salatin to be an amazing candidate and would still be excited to see him in the position. I don’t believe he is the guy that will change the mind of generational farmers that are operating large scale operations… Gabe Brown has a much better chance of changing the opinion of that demographic in my opinion, which is where real change could make a difference.
I’m a nominee @Regina and have been a fan of Gabe Brown for over 5 years. He’s proven that big ag (he farms 5,000 acres of row crops, hay and grains) can be profitable using no-till, organic methods! I’ve used his methods on a small scale in my personal family garden for 6 years and have seen soil moisture improvements, soil fertility improvements and food nutrient improvements. @earthsharelife
He has a deep understanding of soil microbiology and how fostering living soils produces nutrient dense foods. Getting American farms back to natural farming methods is going to prove to be the one thing that brings back Americas physical strength, mental health and social ties.
I pray @joelsalatin will consult with @Gabe concerning grain farming policies and incentives to American family owned farms who implement organic no-till practices.
