Nominator's thoughts on what would make this nominee a valuable member of a future Trump Unity Government
1) Is Competent ...Glenns professional experience is distinctive; in addition to being a physician, he hold a master’s degree in food science and human nutrition and spent eight years in new product development with Campbell Soup and Kraft. In that role, Glenn had the opportunity to develop new food products and also participate in the marketing, consumer testing, and advertising of food products. This has given him a firsthand look at how the food industry shapes consumer choices. This combination of skills means he understands both the inner workings of the food industry and the science of nutrition, as well as the downstream effects of poor nutrition on health. From navigating the operating room as an anesthesiologist to understanding food product development and production processes, Glenn can bring insights that few can offer.
2) Is Honest...As a physician, Glenn has taken an oath and has devoted his life to helping and comforting his patients during the most trying times of their lives.
3) Is Respectful ...Glenns experience as a physician has taught him to be respectful to all. He treats every patient with empathy and addresses their needs as individuals.
4) Has Integrity ...Glenn has always been fair and has relied on his values to do what is right. He is not afraid to speak the truth.
5) Has Courage ...Glenn has witnessed the inner workings of both the food industry and the healthcare industry. He believes that it is imperative to address the public health crisis caused by these entities which is endangering the future of the nation.
6) Has a Proven Record...Glenn graduated from the Wayne State University School of Medicine with honors (AOA). He completed his residency at the University of Chicago and has had a successful 25+ year career as an ABA board certified Anesthesiologist. Prior to becoming a physician, Glenn graduated with honors (Gamma Sigma Delta) from the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at the University of Florida. He has been the recipient of numerous awards in the food industry, including the Campbell Soup Companys highest research recognition, The Campbell Institutes for Research and Technologys Award for Outstanding Achievement.
