Dating back at leas to Joel’s father, his family has shown incredible ingenuity in farming methods, practices, and markets. He has been in the fight to provide market access to small producers and business.
This guy is also the Albert Einstein of regenerative agriculture were energy inputs are reduced and environmental outcomes are continually improved. He has also proved that animals can be raised profitably while also providing a more natural and improved quantity of life for said livestock. Who can possibly be more qualified!

I no longer want factory food. We deserve much better…every country I have visited has better food than the USA. It’s a scandal. Let Joel help us develop better small scale production methods. AND PULL THE GESTAPO OFF OUR SMALL FARMERS!

Joel is by far the best candidate for our nation to be the Sec. of Agriculture for not only the small farmer but also for the American consumer concerning Big Ag. He is intimately familiar about all facets of small ag challenges and the requirements and concerns of Big Ag. We need food integrity in both Small Ag and Big Ag, this is why Joel is best choice for our country.

That’s just nitpicking and is irrelevant (not the cow but the how) and detracts from substantive changes which must take place within our agricultural and food systems.
Joel has been so useful in guiding me on how to source my food. I am grateful to have found a farm that runs almost identically to his for my meat source. I appreciate that he is not in this business to get rich; and I appreciate his transparency and generosity is sharing what he has learned through experience.
We need Joel and others like him to get this country’s food system back on track!
Regenerative farming is the foundation needed for building a healthy United States of America and Joel Salatin is the man for the job. He teaches with humor, respect and understanding. His passion for the people and the land that God put us in charge of stewarding is contagious and encouraging! Make farming great again!

Joel has solutions to both the health issues facing Americans and the skyrocketing costs of getting started on agriculture. His nature-focused agriculture methods are affordable to begin farming with and produce a superior product.
Agriculture should not be industrialized! It should be at the family and community level. Each city or county should have a co-op. We don’t need giant mono-farms!
