Nominator's thoughts on what would make this nominee a valuable member of a future Trump Unity Government

    1) Is Competent because of his success as a CIA officer and whistleblower.
    2) Is Honest because he revealed the U.S was torturing prisoners, for which he paid a very high price (went to jail and was blacklisted when it came to employment after his release from prison).
I encourage everyone to listen podcasts on Youtube to really understand Johns dedication for justice.

  • Great pick.

You would have to pardon him first, but he understands CIA, at least in the past, and has good instincts. He also has a lot of enemies within the agency because of his whistle blowing. I think he would not be a good candidate for director of CIA, but I would 100% trust his ability to find a young officer with leadership ability within the rank and file. He would also be a good pick for national security council, or as an internal role focused on free speech.

He actually reached out to the Trump campaign about a pardon at one point, but Rudy Giuliani tried to solicit a bribe.
