Maciej is a US Army vet of the GWoT with numerous commendations from multiple tours of deployment in Iraq and Afghanistan. Hes also one of the most talented full stack developers Ive ever known with broad expertise in network admin, embedded hardware kernel and firmware development, OS and front end software development. Weve developed multiple open source projects together and I dont know anyone else with his combination of skills and values.

Maciej immigrated to the United States at 8 years old from Poland to Chicago. He joined the US Army and served in infantry and later (post injury) translation capacities with honor. The qualities listed encapsulate the core values of the American project and Maciej is an exemplar of them in an applied and embodied way. Ive seen him forgo opportunities for better pay to pursue the open source and sovereignty enabling technology projects weve partnered on and there could be few better suited to lend their expertise to this countrys flourishing.
