    You cannot find a better evidence-based economist qualified to opine on a series of policies. I think he would be an amazing Secretary of Education. Anyone would be honored to work with him. One note: after he published heterodox findings challenging the orthodoxy, colleagues at Harvard organized a smear campaign against him which led to temporary suspension of some responsibilities. You may want to check that out and decide if it is too controversial for you.

    I do not know Mr. Fryer personally but I have read his work. Mr. Fryer, like Elon Musk, has to be one of the most intelligent human beings on the planet and of our generation. The Administration would be lucky to have him serve in the areas of economics, education, or on matters related to policing.
