    Mr. Varoufakis was a Greek Economist that was having lunch with the President of Greece in 2015. Upon offering the Greek President some difficult Economic advice, the President asked if Yanis would serve as his Minister of Finance. He accepted, under what now can only be termed “Trumpesque circumstances of appointment”. If I recall correctly, the Greeks were experiencing financial terrorism from the EU who threatened interest hikes on the national loan if they didn’t subjugate themselves to their demands. Yanis, with the approval of the Greek people gave a big “FU” to the EU opting to retain their Greek pride, self respect, honor and independence rather than kowtow to those tyrants. It would seem to me, most advantageous to have Mr. Varoufakis offer his brilliant mind to the American people to help us fight for our financial freedoms here in the United States as well.
