    trafficking and abortion.

     

    Nominator's thoughts on what would make this nominee a valuable member of a future Trump Unity Government

    1) Scott is competent in the subject areas of expertise pertaining to the Department of Defense with a proven track record of over 20 years of honorable and faithful service. He led and created dynamic teams and developed processes that are in use by commands today to further readiness and combat effectiveness to prepare and equip the most lethal fighting force for the future. His experiences have prepared him well to serve on behalf of the Nation’s defense.

    2) Scott is honest and transparent in all dealings, with all people, at all times. I have no doubt that honesty will remain a hallmark of his public service as it governs his private life as well.

    3) Scott is respectful, especially with those who voice an opinion in opposition to his beliefs for the people of the country. While attacking the policy of the Department of Defense to invoke a mandate for the COVID-19 shot, he never attacked the people in leadership. This above reproach nature and spirit of the fight he led allowed him to retain friendships with opinions on both sides of the issue.

    4) Scott has integrity that is a guiding principal in all his leadership decisions, transactions, and personal interactions. He has demonstrated the willingness to go against a destructive narrative and actions seeking to infringe on freedom and liberty on behalf of the people of this great nation, even at great personal and professional cost. He is interested in serving the people as a statesman and patriot, not a career politician. He is governed by a moral code that cannot be bought. It exudes every area of his life.

    5) Scott has courage in the face of incredible odds. He personally blew the whistle on the actions of leadership within the Department of Defense when it became necessary to do so in order to defend the Constitution and the freedoms it provides. Service members were not allowed to exercise the rights of bodily autonomy and religious freedom within the Constitutional framework we live and serve under. The citizen is not relinquished when the uniform is donned.

    6) Scott has a proven record with proven results where the hallmark of his leadership is the flourishing of those under his care. Beginning as a training officer, he planned and tracked the daily training events for 18 pilots across two deployments flying combat missions in Iraq and Afghanistan, counter-piracy missions in the Red Sea, and special operations. Served as Mission Commander for continual operations throughout the United States, Arabian Gulf, and the Middle East. Led 180 Marines in combat operations with 12 FA-18 aircraft in Carrier Air Wing One. In addition, Scott's proven record includes when he became a Service Chief’s Fellow at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) integrating special projects with the Department of Defense and civilian performers.

    As said in my personal comments not viewable to public, I nominated my husband because I can speak firsthand of his integrity in ALL areas of life, personal and professional. As one of the highest ranking Marine Officers who stood against the mandate, he demonstrated a willingness to stand for Truth and defend the Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic. Some of the stand out portions of his career are included in his bio in links above and include an invitation very few Marine Pilots receive to return to the Navy Fighter Weapons School as a TOPGUN Instructor Pilot. He was meritoriously reordered for promotion to Lieutenant Colonel and slated to command an F-35 squadron. This honor was removed as a result of respectfully and publicly fighting for the rights of service members by opposing the COVID-19 shot mandate. He led alongside fellow service members and leadership in and out of the Department of Defense along with legal counsel and Congress to achieve the reversal of the mandate and the upgraded characterizations of those forcibly removed from service. He was removed from legal hold and
    allowed to retire with twenty years of honorable and faithful service.

    I wholeheartedly commend my husband’s nomination.

    I served with LtCol “Sonny” Duncan in VMX-1 and give my fullest endorsement. He is the most qualified, professional, and purposeful leader you will ever meet. He will succeed in whatever role he is put in and will do so with the utmost integrity. He was willing to go to prison for his convictions during the mandates in the military and never stopped advocating for all service member’s right to medical and religious freedom. Even while he was fighting the unlawful mandates, his Commanding Officer confided in me that Duncan was the best pilot that he has ever known (he’s a former Top Gun instructor and F-35B pilot). This quote from his nomination is absolutely true:

    I am grateful to have served with Duncan and have no doubts that he will continue to succeed and make positive impacts wherever he has an opportunity to serve. I am not seeking a position, but I would serve under him anywhere and anytime even if it was just to take out the trash. Do not pass over this leader who will be loyal to God, Family, and Country.

    I cannot think of a better candidate. Not only has he served his country in amazing ways and with such honor, but he has fought back against wrongful tyranny from the government with respect and honor. There are some in our culture today that fight back in disrespectful ways, but Scott Duncan has always stood his ground for truth and justice with incredible dignity and character. I have also seen him firsthand to be an incredible leader that people want to follow. I have no doubts or reservations that he could lead at the highest levels.

    Scott Duncan was a leader in our church for several years before he moved due to a new job. He showed excellence, determination, hard-work, willingness to stand for other and what he believed in, and most importantly integrity in all aspects of life. He would be a great asset to these nominated positions.

    I never had the honor or serving with Scott personally while on active duty, but I did have the distinct honor of serving with him in our church in Yuma, AZ when the COVID debacle unfolded in our nation. I was able to see firsthand what an incredible leader he was during that time. His approach to the situation was impeccable. I knew then that this man could do amazing things for the American people if he were given the opportunity. He has pure and honest convictions that he lives by. Even if one does not fully agree with his personal convictions, he still loves people with grace and dignity that we all deserve. This may be cliche to say, but I would follow Scott Duncan ANYWHERE. He is genuinely THAT leader.

    Scott is the ideal candidate for the Department of Defense or the Navy. His extensive experience and deep knowledge will be invaluable assets to any of the above. I am confident in his ability to succeed in any role. We are grateful for his service to our nation and his unwavering dedication to serving others. Needless to say his leadership abilities paved the way to his remarkable achievements.

    I had the distinct honor to serve alongside Scott for my final 2 years in service. I was a first hand witness to Scott placing his livelihood, pension and personal freedom on the line in support and defense of our Constitution against runaway domestic enemies. Aside from his impeccable pedigree and technical/operational expertise overwhelmingly qualifying him for a multitude of DoD/DoN roles, he is a man of unimpeachable character; utterly incorruptible. Scott was not only an elite leader in the cockpit and in front of formations of Marines, but also a very highly regarded elder in our church.

    In the words of John Adams, “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”

    Scott is the embodiment of the citizenry referenced by our founding fathers. It was difficult to fathom how he was able to take the daily persecution in stride for 2 years while turning the other cheek with a smile and never a sour word. Simply put, he leads by humble example. My family and I wholeheartedly support C. Scott “Sonny” Duncan in this bid to continue to serve the American People and urge similarly inspired voters to do the same.

    Sonny is a good man and a great American. I served with him while at VMX-1, he was loved and respected by his Marines. He went out of his way to take care of me and ensure my family’s smooth transition to life post Marine Corps.

    Sonny is a man of principle who is unwavering and deeply committed to his core beliefs. It was a pleasure to serve with him. I give him my full endorsement for nomination and acceptance to any position in the administration. His specific area of expertise in the military as both a star instructor pilot at TOPGUN -and- a persecuted man of principle during COVID make him perfectly suited to END the progressive socio-cultural experimentation and infiltration in our military.

    Sonny is an absolute must for any position in this administration. His character and integrity are unmatched. He is an amazing American, Husband, Father, and Retired Marine that has served this country faithfully. We need people like him to help run this country. I greatly benefited from serving alongside him for over 9 years and can honestly say am better because of it. He has that affect on those who cross paths with him. This is a no brainer, America can only benefit from his continued service.
