Reasons as to why DJI shouldn’t be banned
I love flying DJI drones and capturing photos and taking videos with them. I’m wanting to bring this to the attention of Trump. I know you have called out the media for not always being truthful with their claims. The same is being said for DJI. I just want my opinion and a bunch of other drone pilots to be heard and listened to. This would significantly impact us and not in a good way

A US security company did an audit for DJI drones and found nothing:

DJI drones are reliable and if they are banned they will impact a bunch of jobs. We don’t have any US drones in the consumer or prosumer market that can compete with them. Don’t ban DJI drones. There is no proof of them being a security threat. And if there is how come the evidence they do claim against DJI is completely false and has no merit in their claims?

The only reason they want to ban DJI is because the U.S. market can’t compete. Inferior products with egregiously extended lead times. And probably some under the table kickbacks or to isolate the market to increase their investments in the companies they back; as is the way with our system.

It’s like TikTok. They aren’t doing anything that Meta, Alphabet Inc., Microsoft, Apple or any of these other corporations aren’t doing already.

Government does not do anything from a moral standing. And nothing gets done for free.

The media hype against drones is ridiculous. The danger drones pose is so minimal it is laughable.
DJI drones specifically should NOT be banned. They already shut down their data collection (which was sad because they collected data to help find you drone and causes for failures - that data is no longer available).

Please don’t get caught up in the anti China hype so much we start hurting the US economy and free trade.
