    Nominator's thoughts on what would make this nominee a valuable member of a future Trump Unity Government

    1) Is Competent - Jeff’s engineering background combined with experience at the operations level plus executive level experience being responsible for the operations of Ontario Power Generation as CEO before taking his current role as CEO of TVA
    2) Is Honest - In December of 2022 a sequence of unique weather conditions resulted in TVA suffering its first capacity shortfall. Jeff immediately assembled a team to take a hard look at what happened, with the results being publicized. This drove a corrective action plan that addressed the review teams findings, with the majority of the actions being implemented in 2023. In January of 2024 TVA’s system was again tested with unprecedented demand, this time performing flawlessly.
    3) Is Respectful - I have not had the pleasure of interacting with Jeff personally, however his public presentations come across as competent & respectful
    4) Has Integrity - See comment above regarding the December 2022 shortfall. Jeff took personal ownership of the problem, TVA was transparent in their findings and corrections were swiftly made.
    5) Has Courage - Jeff & TVA have faced relentless pressure from the environmental community for not jumping onto the renewable energy bandwagon. This has taken the form of public & personal attacks, scrutiny from left wing members of congress and endless litigation. Through this Jeff has been steadfast the renewable energy is inconsistent with TVA’s charter of providing low cost / affordable power to the Tennessee Valley.
    6) Has a Proven Record - TVA’s and Ontario Power Generation’s record under Jeff’s stewardship are a testament to Jeff’s track record.
