Nominator's thoughts on what would make this nominee a valuable member of a future Trump Unity Government

    1) Is Competent ...I have performed both my careers in a very competent manner but I also will ask for help and guidance when needed. To be truly competent you need to know when you need assistance.
    2) Is Honest...Unfortunately I am honest to a fault. People giggle and will tell you to never ask me a question you do not want to know the answer to.
    3) Is Respectful ...This is very dear to my heart as it is one thing that my students say makes me different from all my peers. I treat them with respect and am shown the same in return. Even when they need to be reprimanded it is done in a professional manner and they know they are loved at the same time. Respect also allows you to get people to do things they may not want to do, because they know you have that respect for them and believe they can accomplish the task at hand.
    4) Has Integrity ...Integrity is my thing. It is what will make me like you or hate you with a passion. Integrity is doing what is right, not just for you but those around you. Integrity is what is lacking on the left and with so many people recently. It is being honest and loyal and upfront, transparent. This is the daily for me and what I hope I teach my students.
    5) Has Courage ...I had a horse related accident and suffered a TBI. Due to this I decided that I would take a college course to see if it improved my memory. It did so the next semester I took 3 courses and that worked even better so I took 7 courses the following semester while working full time and raising my daughter. I received my degree in education but was offered a job in corporate America in quality and process improvement so I took it. Went back to school a couple years later and earned a masters degree. I had a comfy 6 figure salary working from home. I would still take vacation and go sub at the local schools. After many years of this I woke up one day and decided to cut my pay into a third of what I was making and I went to go teach school. My friends tell me I should have been thinking about retiring but I was thinking about making a difference. I have not regretted a day and am making a difference but I have a lot more to give.
    6) Has a Proven Record... In my first year in the newly created role of VP of Quality and Process Improvment for a Fortune 500 company I was able to save the company 1.6 million dollars with very minimal effort. I have also analyzed 2 school districts providing suggestions on how to cut expenditures, increase learning and teacher retention. One of these schools was on the brink of closing and due to implementing several of my suggestions is still open and enrollment has more than tripled in the past 5 years.
