I have followed RFK Jr. for many years. In fact, I have him to thank for opening my eyes to all of the corruption--especially when it comes to children. I, like many, graduated with my degree in medicine, completely brainwashed. It wasnt until I did my own research, found the Childrens Health Defense, and had my eyes opened. I will forever be grateful to Kennedy and pray for him daily. The moment he joined the Trump campaign, was something I will never forget. It still brings tears just thinking about it. Ive dreamt of true health in this country, and for the swamp to be drained. But truly didnt think that would happen in my lifetime. Yet here we are. And to have an opportunity to potentially be part of this movement, is such an honor.
Nominator's thoughts on what would make this nominee a valuable member of a future Trump Unity Government
1) I am competent. I have worked tirelessly for the past 6+ years to learn everything I can regarding functional/root cause medicine. Amongst the integrative community I have established myself as a thought leader and speaker. Patients of mine will listen to a podcast of someone famous or read a bestselling book and tell me, I didnt learn much. They basically said all the things you have taught me! And I am currently booking new patients in August of 2025--another testament to my competency. (All from word of mouth.)
2) I am honest. Patients are paying money to hear me speak truth. Not the lies they are hearing on the media or from conventional doctors. While it can be difficult at times, it is always worth it. Honesty is at the core of all I do.
3) I am respectful. There is a difference between harassing someone for their beliefs, and setting boundaries, right from wrong. This sort of ties in with being honest--it is imperative that one is respectful while being honest at the same time. We are all unique, children of God. So we must respect each others right to an opinion. But the ultimate decision must be based on His word and the words of our founding Fathers.
4) I have integrity. Being a business owner will teach you many lessons. One main one being integrity. What is best for my patients and their wellbeing is forefront. There are many ways to drive up patient costs and increase revenue for the business--all of which I refuse to do. If you ask any of my staff, they will be the first to comment on my integrity and morals surrounding this. Even in the functional medicine world you can see practices up-charge testing to astronomical amounts, and make it mandatory for patients to do thousands of dollars of testing before being seen. This doesnt sit well with me. I add little to no cost to testing and only order the tests that will influence my decision making. While the functional testing we have access to is really fascinating, that doesnt mean it is necessary. I am not here to make millions--I am here to change lives. This is also why I am so passionate about the MAHA mission. To increase the access of real, root-cause medicine, to everyone.
5) I have courage. To be a young, female, physician assistant, and take the leaps of faith I have, is quite insane when I look back on it. But here I am. Yet, I really cannot take credit for this one. Because there have been many times I have been overwhelmed or lacked strength to keep going when the load was heavy, and those are the times I really had to lean on my faith. Its the strength for the day that God provides, that sustains me. Because as you know, almost every aspect of our government is after the care I provide. Ive had to sneak things in from other countries that our FDA would confiscate otherwise. Risking wiring money overseas in hopes that the life-changing device actually arrives. Standing up for what is right, even though it is being censored and mocked nationally. And to keep on, when the risk of losing my license for healing patients, is very real. I have a family to think about. My team and their livelihood. Without immense courage, I would have never opened my doors.
6) I have a proven record. The most amazing part of my job, is to witness lives changed every day. And the relationship I get to form with each patient. And the most humbling part, is how grateful they are for me. I recently got a bouquet of flowers with a note saying, Thank you for saving my life. I was overwhelmed with emotion. I reached out to her in gratitude and her response was, Taking that first step into NE Functional Medicine has truly been life changing for me and my family! Getting to have you as a friend has been priceless 💖. And the truth is, there are hundreds more of her, that would echo the same sentiment. While I would love to take credit, I remind the patient, they need to be proud of themselves. They put in the work and dedication. And God is the ultimate healer. I am just an instrument in that healing. So if you need patient testimonies of my proven record, there are many, and I am forever grateful for their trust.
