Not sure how the filling of these attributes works so here’s a post for some of them…
Rossmann is a strong advocate for the repair trades, whether that be for electronics, vehicles, or any other product. He has lots of experience dealing directly with companies and lawmakers alike on this subject. If a proven record is consumer protection laws passed (specifically in right to repair), he has one.
Louis would be a great choice for Technical Development/Efficiency. He did Apple computer repair for over a decade, is now the project manager for the app Gray Jay, and has been the leading force for “Right to repair”. Louis also has that ability to explain topics so anyone can understand what’s going on. If you get him on board he would certainly not disappoint.
A leading voice in consumer rights and an educator in his own right - please review his YouTube channel for evidence of his consumer advocacy. We need people like Louis in positions of influence.
Louis is a strong advocate for people’s right to repair which helps reduce ewaste, curb planned obsolescence. Right for repair laws and rulings will on further help improve america all around!
Louis built his brand on not taking advantage of people when he had the ability to do so. He’s streamed 4+ hour phone calls with the NY state government where he demonstrated that he was being punished by a law that the state could not explain to him how he was supposed to comply with it. Louis currently works at a company called FUTO where he advocates for traditional property ownership (right of first sale, ownership of data, ability to control where personal data goes, etc) and sponsors Open Source projects which aim to revert control back to the users, rather than big tech.
I do believe Louis could be corrupted, blackmail might work on him, but outside of that risk, i think he’d be an excellent pick.
Louis is an expert in the right to repair filed as he has fought and won cases with apple and other tech giants. He is well versed in the technical aspects as well as the legal aspects of right to repairs and some common tactics large mfgrs use to stifle competition.
