Agency or agencies for which nominator feels nominee is best suited:

  • Department of Agriculture

Organization name(s) and position(s) for which nominator feels nominee is best suited:

Policies which the nominator knows the nominee supports or in which they have expertise:

She has outlined policies that directly benefit farmers' finances while reducing reliance on government subsidies for corn and soy. Specifically, one of the key parts of her common platform is bringing industry (processing facilities, distribution network) to the locations with excellent growing criteria (like the warm and wet North Carolina) to grow high quality crops. Why let dry, expensive California get all the production credit just because the processing plants are on the west coast? She has decades of experience working directly with farmers to solve their real-life problems and building small farms into thriving family businesses.

Nominator's thoughts on what would make this nominee a valuable member of a future Trump Unity Government

    1) Is Competent ... she has been working on farms since she was 14. She knows the people who are doing these jobs, and she is one of them. Her proven track record of building successful farm businesses speaks for itself - her combined clients are now worth over $4 billion!
    2) Is Honest... She keeps a firm handle on the truth of the situation, without stooping to belittling those who are arguing with her.
    3) Is Respectful ... She has been a font of knowledge in the agricultural sphere, and takes the time to respond fully to people who are engaged in conversation.
    4) Has Integrity ... See above! She takes the time to learn, engage, and consider the needs of all people in all parts of the chain.
    5) Has Courage ... It takes courage to say that things should be better! I've never seen her shrink from a challenge - she knows her stuff and you'll know it too soon.
    6) Has a Proven Record... See above! Look at her success as a farm consultant - clearly she knows how to build good commonsense business within the current systems, and has plenty of informed ideas about how we can improve them.
