The housing crisis remains one of the most pressing challenges facing communities across the United States. With rising home prices, affordability concerns, and the need for sustainable development, it is critical now more than ever that we work to improve housing policies, criteria, and the legal frameworks governing real estate transactions to ensure equitable access to safe, affordable, and high-quality housing for all Americans. By addressing these issues, we not only create more accessible housing opportunities but also contribute to the broader economic health of our communities. As the housing industry evolves, stakeholders from developers to local governments must collaborate on policy reforms, zoning laws, and housing solutions that prioritize affordability, sustainability, and long-term growth.

I am a strong advocate for policies aimed at addressing the growing challenges in the housing sector, particularly those focused on affordable housing, housing equity, and sustainable urban development. Throughout my career, I have worked to create strategic initiatives that align with public policy efforts to tackle the affordable housing crisis, promote inclusive development, and reform zoning laws to encourage greater housing access for all communities.

Key Policies I Support:
Affordable Housing Initiatives: I strongly support policies that increase the supply of affordable housing through public-private partnerships, tax incentives, and low-income housing tax credits (LIHTC). These policies are essential in addressing the housing affordability crisis, particularly in high-demand urban areas. I believe in programs that make housing more affordable for working-class families, seniors, veterans, and individuals with disabilities.

Zoning and Land Use Reform: I support reforms to zoning laws that encourage greater density in urban areas. These reforms can create more opportunities for mixed-income housing projects that integrate various types of housing, from market-rate to affordable housing. I believe eliminating exclusionary zoning laws is key to building more inclusive and sustainable neighborhoods.

Tiny Home Suburbs: One of my most passionate causes is the creation of intelligently designed tiny home suburbs. I advocate for policies that make it easier to develop small, affordable homes that include small garden areas, garages, and community grounds. These homes would be designed to complement existing neighborhoods while providing affordable homeownership opportunities for anyone who wants to own a property. I believe that tiny home suburbs can offer an innovative solution to the housing crisis by fostering community-oriented living and sustainability in a cost-effective way.

Sustainable and Green Housing Development: As part of my commitment to environmental sustainability, I support policies that promote green building standards, such as LEED certification, and the use of energy-efficient technologies in housing construction. I see this as a critical step toward creating housing that is not only affordable but also environmentally responsible and sustainable in the long run.

Fair Housing and Equity: I am deeply committed to supporting policies that promote housing equity and fight housing discrimination. I strongly back efforts that align with the Fair Housing Act and other regulations aimed at eliminating barriers to homeownership, particularly for marginalized communities, including racial minorities, low-income households, and people with disabilities.

Homelessness Prevention and Supportive Housing: I also support policies focused on ending homelessness by expanding funding for supportive housing programs and wraparound services that help individuals experiencing homelessness regain housing stability. Ensuring that all people have access to safe, stable housing is a cause that I am deeply invested in.

Nominator’s thoughts on what would make this nominee a valuable member of a future Trump Unity Government
I am someone who has spent my career committed to doing what is right, not what is easy or convenient. I believe that true leadership comes from a place of competence—knowing what works, how to drive results, and how to adapt in an ever-changing world. It comes from a place of honesty, where I make every decision with transparency and integrity, knowing that long-term success isn’t built on short-term gains or shortcuts. It’s built on trust—trust I’ve earned through my actions, and by treating every individual with respect.

I’ve seen firsthand the power of leading with integrity. Whether in boardrooms or in communities, the choices I make are always grounded in what is best for the people and the mission, not the bottom line. When you lead with integrity, you don’t have to worry about the tough decisions, because they will always be clear. I’ve had the courage to make those tough calls when necessary—even letting go of individuals who were not serving the greater good or challenging the status quo when I knew it was the right thing to do.

I don’t shy away from those difficult moments. In fact, I welcome them because I know that true growth, both for teams and organizations, happens when we have the courage to face challenges head-on and make choices that are in line with what’s truly important. I’ve lived in over six countries, and each of those experiences has taught me that leadership is not just about making decisions—it’s about knowing how to listen, adapt, and build relationships that are based on trust and mutual respect.

I’ve had the privilege of being recognized for my work—whether it’s through Emmy and Telly Awards or through the growth and success of the teams I’ve led. But more than the accolades, it’s the proven record of driving real, measurable change that I’m most proud of. What I’ve learned through all of this is that success is not just about achieving goals; it’s about the people you impact along the way. I am deeply committed to making a positive difference wherever I go, and I believe that true leadership is about service to others, about empowering those around you to reach their full potential.

In every role I’ve taken on, my focus has always been on creating value, not just for the organization, but for the people we serve. Whether leading a team or working on a project, I always ask myself: Is this decision in the best interest of everyone involved? Does it align with the greater good? For me, the answer is never about the money or the short-term benefit—it’s always about doing what’s right, no matter the challenge.

I’m passionate about leading with a sense of purpose. I’m committed to fostering environments where people feel valued, heard, and empowered to succeed. I’m here to make a real impact, and I believe that the best leaders are those who lead with integrity, who aren’t afraid to face the hard decisions, and who do everything with a sense of respect for the people they work with and the communities they serve.

If you’re looking for a leader who isn’t afraid to take on challenges, make tough decisions, and lead with heart and purpose, then I’d love to connect and explore how I can contribute to your team.
