Zen has been advocating for food testing for toxins for over a decade. She would strongly support policies that would eliminate toxins from the food and environment. She has been to Washington DC on many occasions to speak with legislators and more recently has worked with Cory Booker on crafting the Safe School Meals Act.

1) Is Competent ... in communicating clearly to the mainstream public the issues with the food supply and toxins in a way that creates community and motivates the masses 2) Is Honest... to a fault. If she states something she later finds out to be incorrect she will immediately publish a correction. 3) Is Respectful ... she continually encourages her network to speak with compassion instead of anger and denigration. 4) Has Integrity ... she has repeatedly set a goal that most people would attempt or said was impossible and was successful even when the odds were against her. 5) Has Courage ... one example is that Zen spoke on her own in 2015 to one of the most hated companies in the world, Monsanto. The stock dropped 6% the next day. 6) Has a Proven Record... She has created a network that has reached hundreds of million of people. She was successful in getting Costco to stop selling Roundup and her work on food testing instigated the new bill, the Safe School Meals Act.
I enthusiastically endorse this nomination of Zen Honeycutt. She is an incredible advocate for the health of Americans and has a proven record of effective projects and inspired discourse which has propelled this movement forward for years.
