Integrity and clear-headedness

As posted in the General channel, signatories of the Great Barrington Declaration during lockdowns took a stand against the panic and groupthink during a time of crisis. These are qualities nominees should exhibit.

As a follow up to my earlier post, I hope some of you remember the Great Barrington Declaration. I don't see a way of viewing the signature there, but having signed it in the midst of lockdowns would be a strong indicator of the integrity I'd expect from nominees.

I fully support this endeavor. The upper levels of CDC, FDA and NIH are all currently under Pharma’s total control and their ensuing censorship has hurt the health of millions.

Yes; not only with respect to health/medicine, but in ANY area; being willing to stand firmly in one’s WELL-FORMED and (actually) expert opinion, EVEN when it goes against the prevailing opinions of others, is essential. Being willing to examine all “sides” of an issue and again stand firm, even when being attacked by people on “both sides,” is a further sign of such integrity (I think of Mobeen Syed thoughtfully and thoroughly reviewing research on the pandemic and the vx developments; one week, he would be excoriated for being “pro-vx,” the next week, attacked just as violently by the “other side” for being “anti-vx,” yet he continued to evaluate the research objectively and thoroughly, whatever the results might be, even when his very livelihood was not just threatened but actually attacked and suffered). Further, being willing to MODIFY one’s opinion when new (high-quality) knowledge is discovered, is also essential. Thus, appropriate HUMILITY is also an essential quality!
