Nominator's thoughts on what would make this nominee a valuable member of a future Trump Unity Government
Nicole Shanahan has proven herself a capable leader in the fields of health and technology. With her pro-human philosophy and deep knowledge of technology, she would make an ideal leader for AI regulation.
I would pick Nicole to be Director of the Office of Science and Technology Policy or to lead Food and Nutrition Service which increases food security and reduces hunger in partnership with cooperating organizations by providing children and low-income people access to food, a healthy diet, and nutrition education in a manner that supports American agriculture and inspires public confidence.
I’m honestly shocked she is not higher up on this list. She was talking about assigning tracking to every dollar that goes in to the government to know exactly where the money is spent, has a deep knowledge and understanding of technology and the law and you can just clearly tell that her heart is in the right place and wants to do the right thing. As a “Kennedy Democrat”, I support this pick.
She is brilliant, and great ideas on AI. She is a wealth of knowledge in the technology field, and a great defender of free speech and constitutional rights. I urge many to check out her “Back to the People” podcast. The conversations are always fascinating and helps springboard you into a lot of different topics.
Her role should be intra-departmental with goal of overhauling technology policy and rate of adoption. Government moves at a snails pace and most project is over budget and under delivered. In the wodl of Ai, Robotics, FinTech deployment of decision making infrastructure needs to somewhat closer what to what the corporate world does it at. Policy changes are needed to make this happen.
Would like to see Nicole Shanahan in whatever position she feels she could most contribute to and that she would enjoy or feel challenged in. She’s breath fresh air, very bright, articulate and creative.
I like Nicole for AI Czar, Director of the Office of Science and Technology Policy or Head of Food and Nutrition Services. She is such an asset, the administration would be foolish not grab her.
