Agency or agencies for which nominator feels nominee is best suited:
Organization name(s) and position(s) for which nominator feels nominee is best suited:
Food and agriculture
Policies which the nominator knows the nominee supports or in which they have expertise:
I support Trumps USMCA policy as I was directly harmed by Clintons NAFTA policy.
EPA clean water and clean air policies are important to me, as it relates to industry and agriculture.
I support the use of cow manure to create methanane gas to generate electricity. There are 8 such facilities in my home state of Indiana.
I agree 100% with RFKJR concerning the harmful effects of untested vaccines. More work is needed to understand autism however, vaccines that contain heavy metals should be prohibited.
I am an herbalist and encourage others to pursue naturopathic remedies. The AMA and ADA should not legally pursue doctors for prescribing naturopathic remedies. It should be between the patient and doctor to decide. Insurance companies should cover naturopathic treatment. Insurance companies should not separate dental insurance from health insurance. Cavities uncared for directly affect the overall health of the individual. Heart disease, breast cancer, pancreatitic cancer and many more have been linked to fatalities. Many people cant afford proper dental care because insurance wont deem certain procedures as a medical necessity.
I support legalizing the retail sale of raw milk. I am a pick up location for raw milk.
I believe the USDA needs more truth in labeling of food ingredients and country of origin and country where it is processed.
I believe the USA needs to prohibit the use of thousands of harmful food additives.
I believe that the federal government should protect citizens rights to grow a garden, raise a few chickens in the backyard and cities should not prohibit them.
Roundup (glyphosate) has been proven to cause non-Hodgkins lymphoma as well as many more maladies. Glyphosate and other harmful herbicides and pesticides should be limited and eventually phased out of use. Educational programs and incentives should be made available to farmers who switch to organic no-till practices.
Importing of agricultural products should be limited so American farmers can make a living wage. Exporting of US agricultural products should increase, to support prices of US farm commodities.
Nominator's thoughts on what would make this nominee a valuable member of a future Trump Unity Government
I would love to be able to work with Robert Kennedy Jr on agriculture and food.
I studied geology in college for 2 years, but changed my major, got married to a farmer and started raising my family.
For 13 years I assisted in the growing of corn, soybeans, hay, farrow to finish hogs, beef cattle and purebred German Shepherd dogs. I remember the Clinton years of NAFTA. Canadian meat packers went on strike and flooded US packing houses with pork. When we sold our market sized hogs, the prices were 5 cents per pound! That was a 90% decrease. It was horrible. Thank you Mr. Trump for the USMCA agreement so US products are not devalued by foreign oversupply.
I lost the farm in a divorce. I worked while completing my college degree in 2003. I became an automotive Quality Engineer for a few years, but my heart is in agriculture.
Now I produce organic, no-till foods for my family. For 8 years I have been growing produce using no-till organic farming practices. I built a greenhouse and raised bed gardens and water with a rain catchment system and love it. I also preserve my harvest. I raise rabbits and chickens on pasture in mobile tractors every summer and butcher the meat. The animals are healthier as they eat clean green grass and are moved twice daily, eliminating any need for medication or vaccines. Pasture raised animals are always healthier and thus produce healthy food for consumption. A bonus is natural and sustainably fertilized pasture for the next year. During winter months I use the deep litter method of bedding for the hens, using wood chips from a local tree trimmer. There is no odor and the hens are very clean and healthy.
Last year I mentored an organic A2A2 raw milk Amish farmer. Indiana prohibits the sale of raw milk, so I assisted the Amish farmer in forming a herdshare agreement with the help of www.farmtoconsumer.org Now I help deliver raw milk to about 200 Amish families.
The health benefits of raw milk should not be overlooked. My familys health is better with raw milk. Check out www.realmilk.com for more information.
If selected to work with the Trump administration, I would advocate for programs for financial assistance and education of organic no-till practices to benefit the environment and people for
1. Better carbon sequestration
2. Higher food nutrient density/brix testing results
3. Much slower soil erosion
4. Better ground water retention and absorption
5. Increased micro rhizomes and good bacterial population
6. Less need for synthetic herbicides, pesticides and fertilizers
7. Less ground water and river water use
8. Less ground water and river pollution from herbicides pesticides and fertilizers
9. Healthier food for Americans
I believe we can incentivize these practices on a large scale. Yes, organic no-till is scalable. Farmers in Indiana and Minnesota (Gabe Brown) are no-till organic farming over 10,000 acres. Intensive grazing of livestock is another highly sustainable way to get fertility back onto soils. My son intensive (rotation) grazes beef cows on 36 acres. Its a small farm.
Agricultural land is so expensive. Chinese buyers and elite corporations (Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, Black Rock, Monsanto) have been buying land at astronomical rates. Family farms cant afford to buy land and are in danger of being extinct. This needs to be stopped. If food production is owned by a few large foreign corporations, they become a monopoly. Availability and variety of products will be in danger. Americans would also be at the mercy of their prices with little competition from a free market. I would advocate to get Chinese owned and oligarch owned land back to individual farmers who produce organic no-till foods..
Additionally, I would work to financially incentivize and educate homeowners to grow backyard gardens and chickens (no roosters in towns of course) for sustainable and local food.
I also have been utilizing natural remedies for various health needs. When I discovered a lump in my breast, I went to my osteopathic doctor. I removed a root canal that showed bone infection and got lymphatic massages to drain infection. The lump disappeared!
The AMA and ADA are against naturopath practices.
Cancer has also been beaten with a ketogenic diet (Boston college Dr Thomas Seyfried studies) and herbal supplements. Many herbs can be grown at home. I grow various things like yarrow, peppermint, lemon balm, catnip, oregano, comfey, lavender and plantain. Theyre perennials and very easy to grow for a sustainable supply. I would encourage homeowners to include these perennials in their landscaping. I also grow other medicinal annuals like calendula, nasturtium, garlic and more for antibacterial compounds. Public education of the benefits of herbalism should be of a high priority.
During WWII, the federal government encouraged homeowners to grow food. They published the Victory Garden for growing fresh leafy greens and encouraged backyard chickens for sustainable protein. Lets get back to these common sense practices and make America strong and healthy again!
