She’s a warrior and she’s brilliant. Her dedication and advocacy for nutrition that is science based should be acknowledged. She’s not in it for fame and fortune-she just wants to do what’s right for the people.
Go Nina, your a beacon of light.
Absolutely would be fantastic for the US Dietary Guidelines. She has done decades of work in this field and has championed for our health! Coming from a healthcare professional (Registered Dietitian), I love her work and appreciate it greatly! WE NEED CHANGE!!
Agree!!!
Nina is passionate and precise! A bulldog for truth! We need truth in reporting health facts and fearless determination against the greed and dominion of money and power that has led America to its unhealthy state! We need freedoms from unhealthy food and Pharma industry! To teach and feed our people and especially our children better! Thank you, Nina , for fight for us!
Absolutely! She is one of the most competent individuals with integrity for the people. Truly inspiring. My vote has my heart with it.
Nina is an excellent candidate for this role ~ really cannot think of anyone more qualified. How refreshing it would be to have dietary guidelines that reflect truth.
Since being introduced to Nina a few years ago, I have come to appreciate her insight and science-based discussions and publications. Unlike many others who take commonly-cited data at face value, Nina’ willingness to look at how that data was parsed to reach certain conclusions gave me insight into how recommendations seem to change so easily.
I appreciated the way that she looked at whole studies and their overall outcomes to illustrate the difference between that and the slice of data used to show a misleading outcome by others.
I believe Nina would do a good job pushing for dietary guidelines that fall in line with optimizing human health.
Nina is a fearless and passionate champion that puts the health of people ahead of all else. I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with her and learning from her, and I can’t imagine a better champion for advancing the cause of providing nutritious foods to adults and children in the US and globally, since so many countries lean on our guidelines.
Nina has been working tirelessly for over a decade for the health of the American people. We need her! I personally have lost 250lbs following her nutrition information. I have regained my health and completely changed my life. Let Nina help others in this nutrition capacity!
Nina has an unparalleled understanding of the mistakes that have shaped our extremely flawed dietary guidelines. Her investigative perspective as an outsider, and subsequent founding of the Nutrition Coalition makes her the perfect person to reimagine and execute a far superior dietary plan. She has already been doing the work for this role, she just needs the bigger platform to better heal our country.
Nina has been working in this area for a long time. I read her book, The Big Fat Surprise and have followed her on social media for many years. She would be a great choice to lead this effort. Her influence would turn the guidelines upside down and America would become much healthier. We could also start to eliminate the obesity epidemic in this country. The problem is we’ve been on the wrong track for 50 years and have had too many conflicts of interest on previous panels.
100% agree with this nomination, thanks to her tireless efforts, she was able to get the standard of medical care to at least recommend low carb diets for Type 2 Diabetes which is a massive step in the right direction and demonstrates that she can get this done even when everything is stacked against her
So knowledgeable, if her advice is taken then the nation and the world will begin a true health journey.
Her book, The Big Fat Surprise, Why Butter, Meat and Cheese Belong in a Healthy Diet, changed my life. As a health professional, I was taught that dietary fat was unhealthy and that our diet should include mostly carbohydrates. I was delighted when I learned that full-fat cheese could be consumed in a healthy diet. After avoiding cheese for thirty years, I became a cheese promoter. Now, as the “Healthy Cheese Lady,” I enjoy eating full-fat cheese daily. My friends ask me how and why my position changed. I tell them to read her book, watch her interviews on YT, read her articles, subscribe to her Substack account, read her FB and X posts, etc. She has been a warrior for exposing the truth about the guidelines for many years and deserves to be the DGA leader. Our nation’s health needs her leadership. I encourage everyone to follow her on all platforms. She has a PhD in nutrition and has worked tirelessly to expose the truth.
No brainer! She has been trying to change the dietary guidelines for years! She has taught me about the broken system for years as well.
I strongly endorse Nina Teicholz for USDA leadership. As a physician, I deeply appreciate her evidence-based approach to nutrition science and policy. Her groundbreaking work challenging established dietary guidelines with rigorous research demonstrates exactly the kind of scientific integrity and courage we need in public health leadership.
Through her book “The Big Fat Surprise” and the Nutrition Coalition, Nina has consistently advocated for nutrition policies based on sound scientific evidence rather than industry influence. Her ability to critically analyze complex scientific data while making it accessible to the public would be invaluable in a leadership role.
Nina’s track record shows she has both the expertise and integrity to drive meaningful, science-based reform in our nation’s nutrition policies. Her work has already helped shift the national conversation around dietary guidelines.
I encourage everyone to review her extensive body of work and join me in voting for her nomination. We need leaders who will prioritize public health based on solid scientific evidence.

Nina is a passionate advocate for evidence-based nutrition guidelines. She has been studying and writing on the topics of food, nutrition and food policy for over a decade. She is thoughtful and conscientious, and will act with integrity.
Nina was part of my RE-Education on nutrition “science” and the forces that developed our guidelines. I appreciate a well-informed voice outside the realm of nutrition with no other interest than getting our guidelines to look at and follow more of the scientific evidence.
Nina is an outstanding choice. She is unbiased, thoughtful, fact based and let’s the evidence guide her.
Would love to see her reform the food guidelines and process as her advice would undoubtedly improve the health of our citizens.
Nina strictly follows the science, ignoring any ideological, political, or financial motives. Please take a moment to vote for her.
