Site is great, but I would like to know where to go to post a policy Trump should implement on day one? The MSM propaganda machine needs to be fined out of existence if they continue to report known lies as news!

Reading ā€œbut bc Iā€™m wildly capable, it was not difficult at allā€ had me laughingā€”I love it!

I have no problem with the way this website is formatted. Iā€™ve been using the internet since the 90s, this is not a big deal, the format is modern and fine, itā€™s just not ā€œglitzy.ā€ And no one is owed glitz. Iā€™m fine with that. Plenty of websites (like live journal and others) require moderated submission in each category. If you want to express an immediate opinion on something, without having to wait, then leave a comment. Moderated posts cut back on waste and spam, and other abuses of the system. Anybody who has actually worked on a website that uses public forums, knows that.

I would suggest maybe some staff stays on hand to offer assistance to the elderly and disabled who may be struggling to navigate the website. Anybody else who is a grown adult who is having problems navigating the siteā€¦ Iā€™m not sure how. Maybe improve your internet literacy, thereā€™s nothing wrong with this siteā€™s formatting.

The website feedback I do have, asking for improvement, is in moderating submissions being put in inappropriate categories. I think the team must be doing a good job moderating out any spam or inappropriate submissions because I havenā€™t seen anything that obviously looks like a bot or insincere person. However, I have seen a lot of internet illiterate people who are too proud to ask for help, posting in inappropriate categories. Thereā€™s not much to do about it when well-meaning people accidentally post a sincere nomination under a category that is possibly less well suited than another category, and I think that should just be left alone. Smart people will figure it out and nominate who they want and vote for who they want.

However, when people post website feedback in other categories like nomination categories or ā€œqualities of nomineesā€ category, I would really like moderators to either recategorize the tag and put it under this category where it belongs, or deny the submission request and reach out to the person submitting asking them to post website feedback under the appropriate category.

Itā€™s annoying to try to wade through cabinet position nominations of a person, or website feedback, in the ā€œqualities of nomineesā€ category, or other inappropriate submissions that are put in clearly the wrong category by people who havenā€™t bothered to patiently learn the format and interface of this website.

Please donā€™t be entitled folks, learn the interface before immediately complaining about it without bothering to learn, and put your submissions under the correct category. Itā€™s not that hard, just be patient and willing to take help and learn.

Unfortunately, because submissions are anonymous, you canā€™t edit your submission because theyā€™re actually submitted by the moderatorā€™s account, not yours, simply using the form you filled out verbatim as long as itā€™s not spam or another problem.

The simple solution seems to be, since it takes about a full day for a submission to be publicly posted, just be one of the first to comment on your post when it comes out. Most posts donā€™t have many comments. If yours is an exception that has a lot of comments, you could submit a resubmission thatā€™s edited, contact the team, and ask them to merge your submissions.

Merging duplicates of the same candidate is a good idea. I think I saw in the chat :speech_balloon: (top right corner) one of the moderators saying that this would eventually be done, merging posts and votes for the same nomination somehow, if I recall correctly. When theyā€™ll get around to doing that, Iā€™m not sure, but theyā€™re probably going through a lot of new submissions daily at the moment.

Roll on weekend!

Sorry if this has already been suggested, but I wish I could edit the nominations I have already submitted so that I can add more information to those nominees bios instead of having to create a duplicate in order to really get my endorsement across. Sorry, I was getting used to the site, and in the course of same, realized I could do some things better, still learning. Please allow edits! Thanks

Ok, I see this question has already been answered; will ask team to merge my submissions

The site is pretty user friendly. I feel it will get better with more feedback and user experience. The updates for people who are nominated says it will be 24 hours. Iā€™m just forwarding the link via text & email and it works.

Most of the nominee profiles are blank, which raises concerns about the siteā€™s data quality. Itā€™s a classic case of ā€œgarbage in, garbage outā€ (pun intended). I was initially excited to vote, but that enthusiasm quickly faded when I saw how poorly managed the nominee profiles are. With empty profiles, itā€™s impossible to verify if Iā€™m voting for the right person.

I couldnā€™t figure out how to nominate a person for a specific position. It seems this site only allows nominations for general categories. Is that true or did I miss something?

I agree - we will work towards this. Thank you for your patience!

Welcome Chris. Yes, there are a lot of profiles that are blank. Iā€™m still trying to figure out this platform in regards to posting, nominations, etc. Iā€™m hoping they will keep making the site more user friendly and just easier to navigate.
Cheers,
Kisar

Not my experience with the site per se, but yahoo mail sent the authentication email to spam. Gee, thanks, good to know where yahoo stands. Funny, it has never done that for any other authenticaion emails that I recall.

Outlook sends the majority of first e-mails to the spam folder. If waiting for a message I go directly to the spam folder and reroute the e-mail I was waiting for to the inbox folder. This tells Outlook to ā€œmake a ruleā€ not to send e-mail from that sender to the spam folder again. I donā€™t know the exact steps, but believe Yahooā€™s algorithm is still similar. Check in spam and identify the sender or message as not-spam.

Iā€™m finding the website challenging to navigate around. I asked questions without getting a responce. Iā€™m hoping it will click. Thank you

I saw a few duplicate names. How hard would it be to list the names alphabetically? By last name. Maybe put all of the DRā€™s together.
