I see alot of people say they have experience in real estate and that qualified them for the housing postion but its way more than that it was already known and proven that housing first dont work it also known that affordable housing havent been addressing the housing crisis example affordable housing in nyc is run by lottery if consumer on fix income welfare, or ssi low paying job ,and the median income start at 66,000 and up how are these people gonna be housed .and that just one of the problem, 90 percent family and children and senoir are living in shelter lost there homes cant pay mortgage, or property tax alot of senoir are house rich and income poor and struggle to keep a float there was over 400,000 people on the waiting list for section 8 ,you half to put in a action plan to address all type of housing instability,people may need all type of housing that fit there need and affordable for all along with resources and services, including first time home owner , make America less homeless again.
And while were talking about housing, health and housing go hand in hand cause if your not in a safe decent environment it can effect your health, it known for year people been in nycha project, for example with all type of discomfort like living for years with mole in there apartment rodents in the walls apartment taking over, lead in the walls years of living in toxic apartment effecting there health. What have the government done nothing, there still allow slum landlord to get away with this and people cant afford anything more so there stuck to raise there family like this but no matter how much money you have everyone deserve decent housing. Now there another type of housing call supportive housing networks which is run by non profit corporation where there the lease holder of the apartment and they sub lease the apartment to the consumer, and the consumer pay 30% of the rent but here the catch most have contract with slum land lord in some of the worst crime poverty neighborhood, so if you coming off the street with the rodent and you being place in apartment with rodent what the difference, or if you came off the street with addiction problem and you move them in a building and they sell crack in the lobby how did you help them and mostly all them supportive housing corporation ceo and coo in shelter and supportive housing salary is close to million dollar still the consumer in there facility fall short of resources that definitely need to be fix. I know that the case in nyc and there was number of news article exposing this corruption.

I am really disappointed in the lack of ability to edit or make corrections to a nominee. There is an icon that looks like a pencil which appears to allow editing, but it does not function.
I also have seen numerous site feedback posts and it seems like no one is tending the garden? What is the point of the forum if there is not a team reviewing and responding to the feedback provided? I do not want to share my link until I can amend my nomination. Which looks like I may never be able to do that???

This site is miserable to navigate. Search terms donāt match. You click on one thing and it takes you elsewhere. I want to participate and vote for a nominee but I canāt figure it out.

Too many duplicates. There should be a way to prompt names that are close when people are nominating and then take you to that person to vote and add more info. Also its hard to search for specific positions.
A number of people have told me that they donāt know how to vote. Itās too confusing.

The website is really well designed, easy to use and has an intuitive and intelligent design in all of itās functionality.
Well, itās an older style forum. Comments appear in chronological order, not āthreaded.ā This can make long discussions clunky to scroll up and down through, but it can have some advantages too.
Other than that, the forum seems to be working well in Chrome. People not checking in every day, finding it hard to believe weāre really hereānot replying to queries whether they want to be nominatedāare to be expected, I think. I had questions about the nominations pageā¦itās closed now anyway.
Theyāre very pale-colored, but thereās a ālikeā button and a ālinkā button in each comment field.
